Barleythorpe
From A47 Uppingham, Stamford & A1- Follow Oakham By-Pass signposted A606 to Nottingham and Melton Mowbray. Take left turning off roundabout signposted to Barleythorpe B640. Our entrance is immediately on the right after the Barleythorpe sign and has tall stone gateposts.
From Melton Mowbray - Take the A606 to Oakham. After the village of Langham take the second turning off the roundabout signposted to Barleythorpe B640. Our entrance is immediately on the right after the Barleythorpe sign and has tall stone gateposts.
From Oakham Centre - Take the A606 to Melton Mowbray. Go through the hamlet of Barleythorpe. Our entrance is on the left 200 yards after the phone box and has tall stone gateposts.
By Rail - Oakham railway station is a two minute taxi ride from Barleythorpe. Frequent services from Peterborough and Leicester provide convenient links from London and the North.
Sandy
From the North - From the A1 southbound turn left at the A1/A603 roundabout (by the Holiday Inn/ Texaco Garage), turn right at the next roundabout and proceed through the shopping area, towards the railway station. We are situated on the right hand side of the road.
From the South - From the A1 northbound turn right at the A1/A603 roundabout (by the Texaco Garage/Holiday Inn), then proceed as above.
By Rail - Sandy railway station is only a few minutes walk. On leaving the station turn right towards the High Street, which is approximately 100 yards walk. At the High Street turn left, we are about 100 yards on the left.
